Will the Los Angeles Lakers make any moves?

Saenz: One of my predictions is that the Los Angeles Lakers won’t make a move at the deadline.

Knitzer: Yes, they will use their 2027 first-round pick and potentially pick swaps to upgrade their guard rotation, without trading Westbrook.

Bernal: If you count dumping the contracts of both DeAndre Jordan and Kent Bazemore as “moves,” then yes they will! Otherwise, the only other notable change the Lakers will make before the end of the season is moving Russell Westbrook to the bench.

Mcewen: Yes, I think they’ll find a way to move on Russ and perhaps make one more small move. It will be difficult for LA to muster enough assets for two deals, but I think they will use trade chips acquired in one trade for a second deal.
