Christian Wood to the Miami Heat
Let’s be honestly; Christian Wood only has two years remaining on his contract with the Houston Rockets and it’s unlikely that’s he’s going to re-sign with them (unless they can make a big trade for a superstar).
He probably doesn’t want to be part of a long rebuild and would be better suited on a team that is closer to contention. Enter the Miami Heat. He’d be a great fit next to Bam Adebayo and could help take some of the pressure off of him.
With the emergence of Max Strus, Duncan Robinson could be viewed as expendable while the Heat perhaps finally finds the answer to their starting power forward and center combo.
