Luka Doncic will finally make it out of the first round

Through his first two playoff appearances in the NBA, Luka Doncic has failed to make it out of the first round. The hope is that this is finally the year in which Luka and the Dallas Mavericks can make it to the second round. I believe that’s exactly what will happen.

This is not the best supporting cast for Luka in Dallas, but this team has played consistently good basketball nearly all year long. If the Mavs can’t make it out of the first round this season, this season will be a huge failure.

Luka has shaken off the early-season rust and is playing the best basketball of his career. The Mavs are likely going to draw the Utah Jazz, who are battling through their own internal issues heading into the playoffs.
