The Sixers are banged up

The Philadelphia 76ers may be at full strength when it comes to roster availability, but there’s no question that the team is banged up on at least two fronts. James Harden hasn’t really looked right all season long (and that could be trailed back to a hamstring injury).

During the series against the Raptors, Harden is averaging just 18 points per game on 37 percent shooting from the field. But the big injury for the Sixers is Joel Embiid, who is playing through ligament damage in his right thumb.

Over the past two games, the Raptors have truly taken advantage of the banged-up Sixers and they could continue to do so in Games 6 and 7.

After averaging 28 points and 13 rebounds per game during the first three games of this series, Embiid has only averaged 21 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in the last two.
