23. Brooklyn Nets (via Philadelphia) – E.J. Liddell, F, Ohio State
The Brooklyn Nets have a huge offseason ahead of them, and I’m not sure how this team is going to attack it to start. But at the NBA Draft, they need to add some frontcourt depth. There were way too many bigs that were unplayable for the team down the stretch.
E.J. Liddell could be an option at this point in the draft. Liddell has made important strides over his three years at Ohio State and finished his junior year by averaging 19 points and eight rebounds on 49 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range.
I’m not sure if he can be a rotation player right away, but he’s one of the more veteran and experienced prospects that will be taken in the first round.
