76ers get: Jerami Grant

Pistons get: Tobias Harris, Matisse Thybulle, 2023 first-round pick

If the Philadelphia 76ers want to prioritize the frontcourt, specifically trying to take some pressure off of Joel Embiid, Jerami Grant is a player they could target during the offseason. Grant is entering the final year of his contract with the Pistons and there’s no guarantee that he’d want to sign an extension with the team.

If that is indeed the case, the Sixers could try and sell Grant on being the final piece next to Embiid and James Harden (who they will almost certainly re-sign with the Sixers). Though the Sixers would likely have to part ways with Matisse Thybulle, what they would potentially lose in him as a defender, they’d get with Grant.

Grant, when he’s healthy and engaged, has the potential to be one of the most versatile defenders in the league. And he’s proven over the last few years that he’s improved on the offensive end as well. He could be a better version of what the Sixers believed Harris would be when they re-signed him a couple of years ago.
