Exploring three big questions (and a prediction) ahead of the Western Conference Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks.

Coming off an impressive performance in Games 7 against the defending West champions, the Dallas Mavericks won’t have much time to celebrate. Up next in the Western Conference Finals, the Mavs must face the Golden State Warriors.

Golden State has been equally as impressive during the first two rounds in the playoffs, led by a familiar trio in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. The conference finals will not be foreign for the Warriors as this is their sixth trip in the last eight years.

This is Dallas’ first trip to the conference finals since 2011, but they’ll be looking to cash this appearance in for a chance to play in the NBA Finals.

Heading into this heavyweight matchup in the conference finals, we explore three big questions that could go a long way in deciding this series (along with an official series prediction).
