Free agents: Wesley Matthews

Wes Matthews was signed off the street in December and ended up playing quality minutes for the Bucks down the stretch. While not the most productive scorer or shooter, he’s still respectable from distance.

He did well against Jayson Tatum in the playoffs, fighting over almost every screen with his defensive tenacity. His performance may have earned him more than a minimum contract around the league even at the age of 35.

There’s no reason for Matthews to go anywhere else in free agency, unless another lures him away with a promising payday.
