NBA Mock Draft 10.0: Magic settle in on Jabari Smith; Shaedon Sharpe falls

2. Oklahoma City Thunder – Chet Holmgren, C, Gonzaga

With Jabari Smith off the board, the Oklahoma City Thunder are really deciding between Chet Holmgren and Paolo Banchero. Both would have good arguments to go No. 2 overall and the Thunder can’t really go wrong with either prospect.

In the end, I believe the Thunder are going to go with Chet Holmgren. Even though Banchero is arguably the better fit for this build, I think the Thunder is going to take the approach of taking the best player available.

Because of how unique he is as a prospect, I believe that Holmgren fits that bill more than Banchero at No. 2.
