4. Sacramento Kings – Keegan Murray, F, Iowa

And this is where the 2022 NBA Draft truly begins. Short of one of the top three teams going against the grain, we know how the board is going to look when the Sacramento Kings go on the clock. What we don’t know is how they’ll operate.

It’s already been reported that there is a myriad of teams trying to trade up with Sacramento for the fourth overall pick. And there’s at least a fair chance that the Kings pull the trigger. However, assuming they don’t, this decision is extremely interesting.

It will dictate how the rest of the top 10 unwinds and the rest of the first round for that matter. The more that gets reported, however, the more it seems as if the Kings may not draft Jaden Ivey. Hey, maybe I’m a sucker. I believe it. Plus, Keegan Murray would be a sensible addition especially if Sacramento is serious about trading Harrison Barnes.
