3. The New York Knicks sign Jalen Brunson

It’s rarely a bad move when a franchise inks one of the most sought-after free agents of the offseason. That’s exactly what Jalen Brunson was this free agency period, even though he didn’t have a full-blown process.

But Brunson wanted to be in New York and the Knicks gave him exactly what he was looking for. Brunson is the perfect fit for the Knicks and he solves an issue that they’ve had at the point guard position for years.

If he can continue to have the impact and produce as he did during his time with the Dallas Mavericks, there’s no question that the Knicks will have improved this offseason. New York will be an intriguing team to keep an eye on in the Eastern Conference next season and there’s no question that Brunson’s addition will be a big reason why.
