NBA Trade Rumors: Ranking the nine most likely landing spots for Kevin Durant.

Even though the NBA Free Agency period is well underway, there’s one big storyline that has captivated nearly the entire league – the fact that Kevin Durant has requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets.

And there are many free agents that find themselves at a standstill until there’s some sort of resolution between KD and the Nets. The problem is, there’s no guarantee that there’s going to be any sort of resolution anytime soon.

Now that a full-out bidding war has begun, there have to be many teams calling about their chances of landing Durant. As we inch closer and closer to a potential blockbuster trade, we rank the nine most likely landing spots for Durant – taking into account assets/Durant’s preferences.

Before you start jumping down my mentions on teams that should/shouldn’t be on this list, here is a list of players that the Nets can’t acquire due to the CBA:

  • Andrew Wiggins
  • Ben Simmons (already on the Nets)
  • Joel Embiid
  • Devin Booker
  • Karl-Anthony Towns
  • Jamal Murray
  • Donovan Mitchell
  • De’Aaron Fox
  • Jayson Tatum
  • Bam Adebayo
  • Trae Young
  • Shai Gilgeious-Alexander
  • Luka Doncic
