The bottom six

30. San Antonio Spurs

One thing is clear – the San Antonio Spurs are in full rebuilding mode. That much was clear when they decided to trade Dejounte Murray earlier this offseason to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for three first-round picks. The Spurs will likely be the worst team in the league this season.

29. Oklahoma City Thunder

It’s unlikely that the Oklahoma City Thunder will be able to make huge steps in their progression as a franchise this season, but the talent is in place. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander seems to have two fellow foundational pieces in Josh Giddey and Chet Holmgren.

28. Houston Rockets

I’m still not sure of what to expect from the Houston Rockets this season, but their combination of young talent is quite intriguing. I’m looking forward to seeing what the next step in Jalen Green’s game looks like and how well Jabari Smith is able to transition to the pro game.
