The NBA’s can’t help but be bad

24. Brooklyn Nets

I’m not going to pretend that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are going to be on this team’s roster when the season opens, because it’s increasingly unlikely that they will. And without Durant and Kyrie, the Nets can’t help but be bad. Even with Ben Simmons on the roster.

23. Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings have an intriguing potential star in Keegan Murray, who has impressed in Summer League thus far but after Murray and De’Aaron Fox, I’m not really sure what the Kings have going for them at the moment. It looks to be another rough season for Sacramento.

22. Charlotte Hornets

Look, from a basketball standpoint, it’s hard for this team to simply overcome the loss of Miles Bridges. But there’s no way he deserves to play in the NBA or for the Charlotte Hornets. That said, this loss will likely put the Hornets back a couple of years.
