5. Denver Nuggets

Over the past season and a half, the Denver Nuggets have been decimated by injuries. And it’s a shame because it’s cost the team two deep playoff runs with Nikola Jokic playing at an MVP level. However, the hope is that this season it all comes together for Denver.

Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. are both set to return to the lineup this season and both will likely be all hands on deck by the time training camp comes around. Don’t sleep on the Nuggets. When healthy, they have the talent and depth to keep pace with any team in the Western Conference.

Their title chances will ultimately come down to whether Murray and MPJ can return to their pre-injury form. If they can, there’s no reason to think that this team can’t play their way into the title picture in the West.
