NBA Rumors: 3 teams that should roll the dice on Dennis Schroder in FA

The Dallas Mavericks are a natural suitor for Dennis Schroder even though perhaps they may not even know that yet. The Mavs may be hoping they could steal Collin Sexton at this point in free agency, but Schroder could end up being a fallback option as well.

After losing Jalen Brunson, the Mavs need some help in the backcourt. Spencer Dinwiddie had bright spots last season after he was acquired but I’m not sure it would be fair to expect Tim Hardaway Jr. to be back to complete form right away.

In that case, that’s where Schroder could come into play. He could be a bench option for the team in which he could come in and be productive. He may not be an ideal fit for the Mavs but he would help soften the blow of losing Brunson.
