Giannis is entering the prime of his career and is the best player in the East

With how this past season played out, Stephen Curry seems to be the face of the NBA right now. And rightfully so. He had HIS moment, which was a long time coming, in the NBA Finals. But let’s not forget that Giannis almost single-handedly carried the Bucks past the eventual Eastern Conference champions this past season in the playoffs.

That should not be overlooked.

Giannis may be the best player in the NBA already and should be considered the best player in the Eastern Conference right now. If not, it will likely happen very soon. Kevin Durant is about to turn 34 and who knows if he even plays this season – he requested a trade but it doesn’t appear as if the Brooklyn Nets are going to trade him.

I’m not sure how that is going to play out, but I do know Giannis is still getting better as a player. The fact that he’s coming off a season in which he averaged 30 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists on 55 percent shooting, and that he could still get better is scary.

Giannis will be considered the best player in the NBA very soon. And he’s still just 27 years old.
