Notable moves: Drafted Jabari Smith, TyTy Washington, traded Christian Wood,

Thanks in large part to their work in the 2022 NBA Draft, the Houston Rockets have done a great job this offseason. Jabari Smith and TyTy Washington are two great additions to a team that is already littered with young pieces. And this team is just going to get better.

Jalen Green flashed during his rookie season and will get even more help this next season. The Rockets also traded Christian Wood to help open up the minutes for Alperen Sengun and Usman Garuba next season. And they may not even be done.

It’s widely expected that the Rockets are still going to trade Eric Gordon which will likely also net them another asset at some point before the season. The Rockets are doing all the right foundational moves that a rebuilding team should be doing.

Now it’s time for one of their young players to rise to stardom.
