Notable moves: Drafted Kennedy Chandler, traded away De’Anthony Melton

The Memphis Grizzlies aren’t coming off a spectacular offseason by any means. They didn’t – or haven’t – made any huge moves and are hoping that their internal development is what can help this team make another jump in the Western Conference next season.

That said, it’s not like any other West teams made any huge moves either. So, in a way, there isn’t much to worry about just yet. Ja Morant is expected to take another step toward superstardom and the one concern regarding this team being a contender next season revolves around injury.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is the big question mark for this team moving forward as he’s expected to miss at least the start of the season. The Grizzlies get a passing grade but if they take a step back next season, it will be hard not to critique their offseason approach.
