Notable moves: Drafted Keegan Murray and acquired Kevin Huerter

If the Sacramento Kings are sold on the duo of De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis, the moves that they made this offseason will help this team compete for a playoff spot this next season. And with the way Keegan Murray looked in Summer League, the Kings could be an interesting dark horse in the Western Conference.

And I don’t think we should ignore the Kevin Huerter acquisition either. The Kings have lingered around playoff contention but have time and time again fallen short. Perhaps with this retooled roster, the Kings will finally take a tangible step toward playoff contention.

At least for the offseason, the Kings get a great grade. If Murray does end up being one of the better players from this draft, you can’t help but give Sacramento props for that move alone.
