The Maybe?

Nah’Shon “Bones” Hyland, Denver Nuggets

There is an aura that surrounds Bones. He has been through a lot in life, losing his brother and grandmother in 2018, but his positive attitude, gratitude for life, and love of the game shine brightly when he gets the chance to play.

Bones is a very gifted player on a talented team that has dealt with significant injuries but still managed to make it to the playoffs led by two-time MVP Nikola Jokic. Bones is a fearless player who doesn’t hide from big moments.

An example of his fearlessness is when he played in his hometown of Philly and hit multiple 3’s in the fourth quarter to win the game. The return of Jamal Murray will make it difficult for Bones to get the minutes he has earned come next season.

Bones can be a lights-out shooter for the Nuggets, and he has shown his hard work this offseason, so expect enormous improvements for Bones going into next year. As long as he plays, we should see him enter the starting line-up at some point or become a solid rotational piece for the Nuggets.
