Julius Randle, New York Knicks

It would be far from surprising if Julius Randle was one of the difference-makers that found his way on a new team during the next wave of transactions. Even more so, if the New York Knicks find a way to land Donovan Mitchell before the start of the season.

if the Knicks acquire Mitchell, they’re going to find a way to try to cut salary from their sheet. And Randle is one of the highest-paid players on the team and would be a great candidate for New York to try to facilitate a trade to open up more money to surround this new core.

I’m not sure if there would be a vast market for Randle, but he’s still young and a productive player. And a fresh start may actually do him some good.
