Buddy Hield, Indiana Pacers

Buddy Hield is a name that has already been linked to the trade block and is likely a player that will either be traded before the start of the season or at the NBA Trade Deadline. The Indiana Pacers are in the midst of a rebuild/retool and Hield simply doesn’t fit the timeline of the team’s new core.

Look for contenders to be active in trying to acquire Hield. Despite his high-end shortcomings throughout his career, Hield is still a good player. He’s a consistent 3-point shooter and can surely help any team that’s looking for that.

The Los Angeles Lakers make sense and not just because they’ve already been rumored to be interested. Hield is a player that could have a decent impact on a team and will only cost any suitor a first-round pick. He should be traded at some point this season.
