Shai Gilgeous-Alexander may be on the brink of stardom. SGA has incredible talent, and he could show it off in a big way this year. A major problem in the past was his supporting cast. They stacked the Oklahoma City Thunder with draft picks for their future, but the now is just as important as the future.

The Thunder is a very young team with a ton of potential. SGA alongside Josh Giddey, a star in his rookie season, Lu Dort, and Aleksej Pokusevski. With the second overall selection in the 2022 NBA Draft, the Thunder drafted Chet Holmgren, who we have seen what he offers on both ends of the floor this preseason. Unfortunately, he will miss his entire rookie season but the future foundation is in place.

SGA has the surrounding talent that will develop his game to the next level and put him in a place where we should see a dramatic improvement in his game.
