New York is still New York

The New York Knicks have only won one playoff series in 20-plus years. They’ve also only made the postseason once in the last nine seasons. Still, the Knicks are one of the biggest draws in the entire league. And that much has been evident throughout the offseason thus far.

It started with the Knicks swiping Jalen Brunson away from Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in free agency and continues with them being one of the teams that Mitchell wants to get traded to (if he’s moved).

There’s a good chance that the Knicks will enter the season with Mitchell and Brunson leading the charge for the franchise, two players that weren’t on the team last season. New York could land two stars. New York is still New York, and the Knicks have taken full advantage of that this offseason.
