Ben Simmons is finally healthy

Heading into the start of training camp, Ben Simmons is slated to be fully healthy and ready to go. It’s something that both the Nets and Simmons should be excited about. Naturally, there are going to be some concerns about Simmons this season. After all, he hasn’t played in a competitive NBA game since the 2020-21 season.

But if Simmons is indeed healthy, there’s a chance that we could see the best version of Ben Simmons this season. Especially considering that he has a clean slate and will be operating under almost no expectations when he returns.

Looking back at the last time he was healthy, Simmons was averaging 14-16 points, 7-8 rebounds, and 7-8 assists per game on 50-plus percent shooting from the field. And he was putting up those impressive numbers while being one of the better wing defenders in the league.

If Simmons is finally fully healthy, I believe we’ll see the best version of him that we’ve ever seen.
