Oklahoma City Thunder – Josh Giddey

For the past few years, the Oklahoma City Thunder (with all due respect) have been Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and not much else. However, the hope is that will begin to change this season. And perhaps that will with x-factor candidate Josh Giddey.

Giddey is entering his second season and could be ready for a bigger role this season, especially with Chet Holmgren out for the year.

Orlando Magic – Franz Wagner

The Orlando Magic is another one of those young talented teams in the Eastern Conference that will be looking to take another step in their progression this season. One player that could help with that is Franz Wagner.

Wagner made noise during Germany’s EuroBasket 2022 run and could look to translate that momentum to this season in Orlando.
