Portland Trail Blazers – Jerami Grant

It’s anyone’s guess what the Portland Trail Blazers will look like this season but it’ll be interesting to see how they look in what will be the first year of a retooling around Damian Lillard. And one player that will be leaned on is Jerami Grant.

Because of that, he’s a natural x-factor candidate for the Blazers. If he plays at a high level, he could change the narrative around this team pretty quickly.

Sacramento Kings – Kevin Huerter

The Sacramento Kings are another dark horse team to keep an eye on heading into the new season. They have some talent on their roster but might not mesh the best. And that’s one of the biggest questions surrounding this team.

Kevin Huerter is an interesting name to keep an eye on as a potential x-factor player. He could be a very useful and productive player for the Kings this season, especially if they decide to move on from Harrison Barnes.
