3 NBA stars to watch as they make their return from injury in 2022-23.

With the NBA season around the corner (training camps open in the next few days for every team in the league), there are a lot of questions that will be answered. And some of the biggest questions revolved around players that missed the entire 2021-22 NBA season with injuries.

Three, in particular, will be looking to rebound this season as they make their illustrious returns. We’ll go through three players that, when healthy, are amongst the best in the league.

Question is, can they pick up where they left off or, in some cases, improve as individuals to help take their team to the next level?

Zion Williamson, New Orleans Pelicans

Very few players bring such excitement and joy to fans as Zion Williamson. The former first overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft has dominated every time he steps onto the court. The New Orleans Pelicans fans are eager to see their superstar back in action.

Williamson provides potential All-NBA level play with All-Star talent, not in question. His dominance on the floor scares opposing defenses. His physical presence and unprecedented athleticism will make his newly acquired teammate CJ McCollum ecstatic when they can feed off one another.

Williamson will dominate day one, and if healthy, don’t be surprised if he is in the MVP conversation. Williamson and the Pels will make a deep playoff run this season.
