20. Portland Trail Blazers

It’s not surprising to see that many are downplaying the potential of the Portland Trail Blazers to be a real player in the Western Conference this season. They traded away CJ McCollum and their biggest move of the offseason consisted of acquiring Jerami Grant.

Grant is a good player but is far from a star that many believed the Blazers would strive to land this offseason. Nevertheless, with Damian Lillard back healthy, the Blazers will be a team that West playoff contenders will need to deal with.

I may be wrong but I firmly believe that the key player for the Blazers this season may end up being Anfernee Simons. If he can pick up where he left off last season, the Blazers could very well make a return to the postseason.
