NBA Trade Rumors: 8 stars most likely to demand a trade in 2023

Maybe you’ve already read one of the biggest predictions of our NBA pre-season bold predictions series, but I believe that Zach LaVine will be the next big star to demand a trade. But I kind of don’t think that it will happen until after the 2022-23 NBA season.

LaVine is fresh off signing a huge contract extension this offseason, I believe he’s going to give this build another try. However, if Chicago ends up faltering this season, I believe he’s going to pressure the organization into some change.

Once that change doesn’t come, simply because they don’t have a ton of wiggle room to do so, I believe LaVine will finally come to the realization that it’s time for a change.
