Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets

I don’t believe everything is all good in Brooklyn. Even though they’re going to try and operate in that manner when training camp opens, I’m not sure the Brooklyn Nets can just erase everything that happened in the offseason and go out and win a championship.

And short of accomplishing that this season, it’s likely that this roster is going to change a bit heading into the 2023-24 season. Kyrie Irving is unlikely to be on the roster beyond this season. And without Kyrie, I’m just not sure how much Kevin Durant is going to want to be around.

Durant was talked out his trade demand this offseason but I’m not sure if there was an agreement on just keeping quiet and playing nice for one season and then figuring out things later. That could very well be the cast.

So it wouldn’t be surprising at all if Durant, frustrated with Brooklyn’s play, if he pushed the envelope if things get off to a shaky start.
