With the start of the regular season closing in, we give out our 2022-23 Eastern Conference pre-season playoff projections.

The start of the 2022-23 NBA regular season is a little over a week away and the intrigue is already building. And that’s not a surprise considering the preseason is underway already. Having already previewed our Western Conference projections, we will pivot and look toward the East.

The NBA’s best is in the Eastern Conference?

There’s a case to be made that the Eastern Conference will be as competitive as it has been in a very long time. There are 10 teams in the conference that you can make an argument on as teams that deserve to make the postseason. And there are about 4-5 teams that you can see win the conference.

As we inch closer and closer to the start of the season, we try to project how the Eastern Conference regular season standings will end.
