8. Memphis Grizzlies

I’m interested to see how the Memphis Grizzlies look this season, with added pressure and expectation. Memphis will not take anyone by surprise this season. And they will be on everyone’s radar. But they’re also super talented, led by the dynamic Ja Morant.

On paper, the Grizzlies should be a top three or four team in the West. But I still need to see this team be able to live up to expectations.

7. Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are healthy and should be a threat once again in the Western Conference. The trio of Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and Nikola Jokic are as dynamic as they come and this team has a strong supporting cast around them.

Will this be the season that the Nuggets finally break through in the Western Conference? It could be, but there are many things that need to break in their favor.
