8. Philadelphia 76ers

Heading into this season, this may end up being the Philadelphia 76ers’ best chance at winning a championship during the Joel Embiid era. But most of that onus will likely fall on James Harden, who could end up making or breaking this team’s championship chances.

Harden may not be an enjoyable player to watch with all the foul-drawing that he does offensively, but watching Embiid and Tyrese Maxey (a rising star in his own right) more than makes up for that.

7. Milwaukee Bucks

With Giannis Antetokounmpo alone, the Milwaukee Bucks will be a team to watch this season. It’ll be interesting to see how the Bucks come out of the gate this season. They’re relatively healthy and are coming off a disappointing showing in last year’s playoffs.

You will initially tune in to watch the Giannis show but you will be forced to stay to see if the Bucks are going to reemerge as a dominant team in the Eastern Conference again.
