Malik Beasley, Utah Jazz
Last but not least, here is my final guess on the player that the Brooklyn Nets could’ve asked about via trade – Malik Beasley. Though, there are certainly a few reasons why Beasley may not be the player the Nets are targeting.
First, let’s talk about why it could be Beasley. For one, he’s a good scorer and would qualify as a “good shooter” as he’s averaging 12 points on 38 percent shooting from 3-point range. He has a team option for next season and is on an affordable contract.
Though, Beasley is only 25 years old so I’m not sure he would qualify as being a “veteran” player. But other than that, he’s a player that the Jazz could theoretically trade. He’s unlikely to be part of the team’s future build.
The question is, would Beasley be a player that the Nets believe could help solve the team’s problems?
