The Phoenix Suns may not be broken after all

All throughout the offseason, all we heard about the Phoenix Suns heading into this season was how broken the team was going to be this season. And how they would take a step back in the Western Conference. Through the first few weeks of the season, it appears that the demise of the Suns may have been greatly exaggerated.

Thanks in large part to the superb play of Devin Booker – who is off to arguably the best start of his young career – the Suns have been the class of the West so far this season. The Suns are sitting in first place in the West with an impressive 7-2 record.

After an insanely slow start to the season for Chris Paul, it appears that he’s finally beginning to show some fight (against Father Time). If he can get in a rhythm, this team really has the chance to take off.

At least for now, it seems as if the Suns may have avoided disaster.
