The Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat have some real issues

The Philadelpiha 76ers and Miami Heat have some real issues.

Before the season, the belief was that the Sixers would be one of the three best teams in the Eastern Conference. So far, that hasn’t been the case. And now that James Harden is sidelined with an injury, the road back up the standings isn’t going to be easy for the Sixers.

Even with Harden, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey playing at a high level, something is missing with this team. I’m not sure if it’s the coaching or supporting cast, it appears that something is off.

The Heat has some similar issues, without the top-level talent of the Sixers. The Heat has been worse than expected so far this season. Kyle Lowry, more often than not, has looked like a shell of himself, Bam Adebayo has been inconsistent, and Tyler Herro hasn’t taken the step that he needs to take to help the Heat get to the next level.

To make everything worse, I’m not really sure there’s much either team can do to change that fact. Not in-season.
