Three players that the New York Knicks should look to trade rather than Immanuel Quickley

Through the first few weeks of the season, the New York Knicks are essentially the team many expected them to be. Even after the big offseason in which they acquired Jalen Brunson in free agency, the Knicks still have strides to make before they’re considered a real contender in the Eastern Conference.

That means that if the right trade deal presents itself ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline, the Knicks should absolutely take it. And according to a recent report, one Knicks player that is gaining at least some interest on the trade block is Immanuel Quickley. The question is, should the Knicks explore trading IQ if it means slightly improving the roster?

The New York Knicks should hold on to Immanuel Quickley

While I think it would be fair for the Knicks to explore the trade market, I also believe that they should be very careful. New York should not trade IQ just for the sake of trading him and potentially opening minutes for other players.

If a trade materializes that will help the Knicks get to the next level, fair. If not, the Knicks should stand pat when it comes to IQ. In fact, if New York is deadset on trading a player or two on their roster to settle their rotation a bit more, here are three Knicks players that the team should consider trading over IQ.
