I’m not really sure how a dynamic of John Collins and Deandre Ayton would work, but if it’s something that the Phoenix Suns would be open to experimenting with, the idea could certainly be on the table. And the Suns’ interest in Collins has already been reported.

But the Suns are a team that could decide to take a chance on Collins, especially if they believe that they’re one move away from winning a champioship. And that may not be too far fetched either. Just a couple of seasons ago, the Suns were two wins away from winning a title.

Chris Paul isn’t getting younger and this may be a year to go all-in. The Suns are a team to watch. I’m not sure if they’ll be able to fork over what Atlanta will be asking for or if they even have what they are looking for, but the Suns should be a team that is hyper aggressive at the trade deadline.

Maybe Collins is the play.
