Indiana Pacers

It’s a fair question to ask if the Indiana Pacers should move forward with trading Myles Turner and Buddy Hield at the NBA Trade Deadline. With them being two of their top four players this season, the Pacers are a top 4 team in the Eastern Conference.

That said, this team would be better off long-term by trading both of those players than keeping them on the roster for a playoff run that may or may not materialize.

And I believe that the franchise knows that and will move forward with trading Turner and Hield, at the very least, at the deadline. Adding a couple of additional assets next to Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin will only brighten the future of this franchise.

While the Pacers should enjoy this strong start to the season, they should also not fall in love with this recency bias.
