OG Anunoby, Toronto Raptors

In the event that the Toronto Raptors get to a place where they would want to retool their roster, which is rumored could very well take place at the NBA Trade Deadline, one player that could be targeted by other sharky organizations is OG Anunoby.

Anunoby, who essentially has one year remaining after this year on his contract, has seen his name pop up in the rumor mill before. If the Raptors do continue to struggle and take another tumble down the Eastern Conference standings, the whispers around Anunoby are likely going to grow again.

Averaging 19 points and six rebounds per game on 48 percent shooting from the field, Anunoby would offer the Lakers another two-way wing and help take some of the defensive pressure off of LeBron James.

He may not be the prolific shooter that perhaps the Lakers may be looking for, but he’s certainly a wild card possibility that would raise the ceiling for the team this season. Anunoby seems like a pipe dream but if he does become available, the Lakers should be willing to pounce.
