Christmas wishlist: Victor Wembanyama

The Detroit Pistons have plenty to figure out over the next few weeks. One of their major decisions has been made as Cade Cunningham has been shut down for the remainder of the season due to injury. Though, if there’s one wish that the Pistons should have this holiday season, it’s landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft (in hopes of landing Victor Wembanyama).

The Pistons already have one of the league’s best young cores in Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey, and Jalen Duren. Adding a premier prospect such as Wembanyama would be downright unfair for this team’s build.

Christmas wishlist: Championship-level consistency

Coming off last year’s NBA Finals win, many believed that it was just the beginning of another string of contending years for the Golden State Warriors. However, that’s not exactly what has happened so far this season.

Because of that, one thing that the Warriors should be hoping for this holiday season is some of that championship-level consistency that the team enjoyed last season.
