Bojan Bogdanovic, Detroit Pistons

The one player that I firmly believe makes the most sense for the Los Angeles Lakers is Bojan Bogdanovic. Of course, it all became that much more complicated when it was reported that the Detroit Pistons are sending out the signals to the rest of the league that they were not going to move him at the NBA Trade Deadline.

This is interesting since the trade deadline is still almost two months away. A lot can happen between now and then and, quite frankly, I believe that report is more of a negotiation ploy than anything else.

My gut tells me that the Pistons haven’t gotten the trade offers for Bogdanovic that they deem worthy. They let out this report to try and raise the market for him. And with almost two months until the deadline, this gives the rest of the league enough time to adjust their offers.

It was already reported that the Lakers offered a heavily protected future first-round pick. If they knock off some of those protections, could that be enough?
