The New York Knicks will go all-in (via trade) for a star during the offseason

The New York Knicks won’t win a playoff series this season but they will begin to taste hope again by making a return to the postseason for just the second time since the 2013-14 season. And they won’t settle for just making the playoffs. The Knicks will get a taste of success and will want to go all-in.

My next prediction for the Knicks is that they will try to take a home run swing for a star during the summer. Nearly every offseason, there is a star that is either trying to get out of town or one that a franchise elects to trade for whatever reason.

The Knicks will attempt to take advantage of that with their large collection of future draft picks (eight trade-eligible future first-round picks).

Whether they are successful in trying to land said star remains to be seen but I believe we’re going to see a similar type of pursuit this upcoming offseason, just as the team did when Donovan Mitchell became available the last offseason. The Knicks will attempt to make an all-in-level move during the summer.
