What’s up with the Chicago Bulls this season?

While the news regarding Lonzo Ball potentially missing the season was dimming on the Bulls, there was still a belief that the team was still good enough to make the playoffs, but that didn’t look like the reality.

The Bulls began the year looking sloppy, and it rarely improved. The Bulls would step up against premier opponents defeating the Celtics and the Bucks but would lose against lesser-skilled teams like the Spurs and the Wizards.

The Bulls have won four of their last five, with the four being the Hawks, Bucks, Heat, and Knicks. The Bulls reverted to their lackluster effort against the Rockets, but the recent win against the Bucks seemed to have woken them again.

The drama in the locker room between Zach LaVine and the Bulls roster after the blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves had the NBA world on the edge of its seats.

There were endless rumors of potential trades regarding LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and DeMar DeRozan. After the recent success, they have put those rumors on the back burner because if the Bulls can continue to win, this team may become a contender for the rest of the season.
