Golden State Warriors

Trade target: Kelly Olynyk, Utah Jazz

The Golden State Warriors are reportedly seeking shooting and size heading into the NBA Trade Deadline. If there’s one way that they could address both fronts, that’s something the Warriors should be interested in doing. And there may be with Kelly Olynyk as a potential target.

Olynyk is a veteran shooting big that may end up being traded at the deadline and could really help a team like the Warriors. He is a valuable veteran that would be able to slide into the rotation in Golden State and immediately help.

He doesn’t need the ball in his hands to be effective and has the experience needed to help fill a role that the Warriors would be asking for. There is no stage that would be too big for Olynyk and he’s on a fair contract that is expiring after next season, so the financial ask wouldn’t be all that great either.
