Trade candidate: Malik Beasley, Utah Jazz

Somewhat surprisingly, the Atlanta Hawks are in the bottom third in the league in 3-point shooting. Heading into the NBA Trade Deadline, the Hawks should be looking to add some shooting ahead of their push toward the postseason. And one target that they have already been linked to is Malik Beasley.

Beasley has historically been a good 3-point shooter and is shooting 36 percent from deep this season for the Jazz. Considering the volume, Beasley would immediately become one of the better 3-point shooters on the Hawks. And if the Hawks truly want to move on from John Collins, Beasley is a target that could come back in a return deal.

It’s hard to predict what exactly the Hawks will do at the trade deadline but you’d have to imagine that this team is going to attempt to make a move that will improve their roster for the stretch run. I don’t envision this team making solely a sell-now move.
