LA Clippers
If Kyrie Irving is going to work on another team, this season or beyond, it’s likely going to be for one that has veteran stars on it. I don’t think you can manage with Kyrie Irving being your best player and win a lot of games in the NBA, or even manage as him being the leader of your roster – on or off the court.
That said, especially considering that this team is looking for point guard help heading into the trade deadline, the LA clippers seem like a natural possible suitor for Kyrie. They have the veteran leadership in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, along with a strong figure as their head coach in Ty Lue, and this is a team that might just be a piece away from contention in the Western Conference.
Again, none of these teams are going to be the ideal situation for Kyrie, but the Clippers may be a stabilized enough organization and situation where they could get away with using him as a rental for half of the season.
