NBA Trade Rumors: 4 teams that should target Kyrie Irving after recent trade demand

Considering that the Phoenix Suns seem to be desperate to make a big move at the NBA Trade Deadline, they should absolutely be a team that is monitored if Kyrie Irving is indeed traded (or shopped) at some point before next week’s deadline.

I’m not sure what exactly the Nets would want to exchange for Kyrie, but hypothetically the Suns could offer a package centered around Chris Paul, and a young player, or perhaps even a draft pick. Would that be enough for Kyre, who knows?

But it would make sense for the Suns considering they would effectively get out from under Paul’s contract and would get a really great rental in Kyrie.

And if it does work out and the Suns make a deep playoff run, perhaps they would explore the option of extending Kyrie to the long-term deal that he wants. This is far from an ideal move for the Suns, but if they’re really looking for a difference-maker and a way to shake up the roster, this might be their best shot.
